We started the dharma class 1 with opening prayers.

9:45-10:30 Practiced 1 on 1 Bhagavad Gita Bhakti yoga slokas 1-3.

10:30-11:15 Sri Hanuman Stories.

We had a combined class this Sunday to update the children on the upcoming End of semester program.

• 1. Topic of the day: Discussion about how Hanuman went in search Of sita and how they recognized each other with the help of ring and chudamani. Kids participated well and identified many key places and characters in the story
• 2. Practiced previous hanuman Chalisa slokas 1-18. Goal is to complete 20 verses in the coming 2 weeks.
• 3. Activity : Toran making. Few kids did bring back the 6 leaves and we gave few more papers for more leaves. We will provide with accessories to complete the toran in the next class.

Parents please save the date may 18th. *Teachers and volunteers are planning programs and fun filled entertainment for kids and their families. It is very important for kids not to miss the next 2 sessions as we will be planning and practicing for end of semester presentations.

Please have your kids bring the printouts and other activities in their folder every week.

Topics Covered:

• 1. Took assessment of Achulu and Hallulu that kids learnt till now. Kids need more practice in recognizing letters esp hallulu.
• 2. For annual day telugu class recital (May 18 th)
• a.Kids will be reciting all 4 padhyams we learnt till now.
• b.each kid needs to write and prepare 3-4 lines in telugu so they can say it before audience
• Example:
• 1. Say kids name in Telugu— na peru —-
• 2 . Talk about his siblings like if kid has older sister or brother or younger siblings Naku chelli/ akka/ anna/ tammudu vunnaru
• 3. And any 2 more sentences for example- Nenu gurukulam telugu badi lo acchulu hallulu nerchukunna inka nenu ankelu( numbers) nerchukunnanu Or Nenu vemana padhyam sumathi sethakalu nerchukunnanu
