Academic Classes
We are introducing academic classes in Math, Science and English. There will be two levels and the curriculum is based on age within each level. Here is a brief description of each level.

Level 1 for Grades: K-6
Course Structure :
Math: Lesson, guided practice and/or classwork covering Fractions/Decimals, Probability, Geometry, Measurement, Time, Money, Comparing Quantities, Addition/Subtraction, Multiplication and Tricks (age and skill dependent), Math Tricks.
Science: Lesson and a related application/experiment and/or classwork covering Plants, Animals, Weather, Water Cycle, States of Matter, Chemical & Physical Changes and Properties, The Solar System, The Life Cycle of a Star.
English: Lesson, guided practice and/or classwork. Various aspects of grammar including Phonics, Punctuation, Sentence Structure, Parts of Speech, Spelling Basics, Reading/Reading Comprehension (age and skill dependent) will be covered.
Level 2 for Grades: 7-12
Course Structure :
Math: Lesson with guided practice and classwork with Q & A time covering Algebra and Geometry concepts.
Science: Lesson with guided practice and classwork and/or a relevant real world application such as an experiment or demonstration or hands on activity. Subjects include Basics of Biology, Geology, Physics, Chemistry, Neuroscience, and Psychology.
English: Lesson, guided practice and/or classwork. Reading Comprehension Strategies, Academic Essay Writing (persuasive, informative, argumentative), Poetry, and Analysis Techniques (literary devices) will be covered.
Location and Timings: Duration of each class is 1 hour.
