Dharma Class 2 (7 years and older)

We started the class with our opening prayers. We discussed about last week's activity. Only a few kids seems to have done the homework… kudos to those kids.

The exercise was mainly to identify one’s good, bad and "needs improve" habits. We also discussed a bit about - perception/ one’s attitude. A hall filled glass could be viewed as half empty or half full. The former being pessimistic take Vs the later optimistic view. We then revisited the Dohas and learnt the first two chaupayis. We discussed the meaning of the chaupayis.

Jai Hanuman gyan gun sagar
Jai kapis tihu lok ujagar ॥01॥

We then shared the story of how Hanuman mistook sun to be a fruit and got his name Hanuman. Some of the kids already knew the story and enthusiastically participated and had great discussion… We also digressed a bit and discussed about Vali and Sugriva.

We closed the session with the closing prayer.
